MINI special and limited editions.

Built in small numbers. Big on personality.

Small in number. Big in character.

Every so often, we make a MINI that isn’t quite like the others. A one-off colour. A roof that tells a story. A badge that counts down from 150. Special and limited editions are MINI at its most MINI – built in small numbers, snapped up quickly and rarely spotted twice on the same street.

The good news? They come back around. Every car here is an Approved Used MINI, which means it has been given a 360 check by our MINI technicians – and only once it’s passed with flying colours does it earn our tried and trusted guarantee. Below is what we made, what makes each one special, and where to find yours.

Electric, with extra personality.

Electric, with extra personality.

Zero driving emissions. Full-strength MINI. The first ever MINI Electric Convertible arrived in 2023 and only 150 came to the UK – roof down, Resolute Bronze accents on, go-kart feeling very much intact. A year earlier, the Multitone Edition gave the MINI Electric a three-colour roof, sprayed wet-on-wet at Plant Oxford so that no two are exactly alike. Just 200 were built. Both are proof that going electric never meant going quiet.

John Cooper Works, in limited numbers.

John Cooper Works, in limited numbers.

Some MINIs shout a little louder. In 2021 the John Cooper Works Anniversary Edition marked sixty years of the Cooper partnership: 740 cars worldwide, Rebel Green paint, a ‘74’ on the doors for John’s racing number and three generations of Cooper signatures across the dash. Then came the JCW 1to6 Edition – 150 UK cars, 231hp and a six-speed manual gearbox, because it was the last John Cooper Works you could stir yourself. Racing heritage, numbered and signed.

Designed to stand out.

Designed to stand out.

Colour defines character. The Shadow Editions took six MINIs – Hatch, Electric, Convertible, Clubman, Countryman and Countryman Plug-in Hybrid – and darkened every detail: Midnight Black paint, blacked-out light rings, a Piano Black badge and Sport trim throughout. The Paddy Hopkirk Edition went the other way. Chili Red, white roof, a bold ‘37’ on the doors and a single bonnet stripe, just like the car that won the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally. Only 100 came to the UK. Style with substance, either way.

Made for the coast.

Made for the coast.

When the coast calls, MINI answers. The Convertible Seaside Edition celebrated thirty years of the MINI Convertible in Caribbean Aqua with white body stripes, ‘Seaside 30’ on the sills and a Cooper S engine for the drive down to Devon. The Countryman Boardwalk Edition swapped surf for staycation: exclusive Deep Laguna paint, Yours leather, 19-inch wheels and room for five plus the luggage. Salt air optional. Smiles for miles.

The last of the line.

The last of the line.

Every icon deserves a proper send-off. The MINI Clubman first appeared in 1969, and the Final Edition of 2023 saw it out in style: 1,969 cars worldwide (see what we did there?), just 100 of them for the UK, each with its own number on the floor mats, badging and interior surfaces. Shimmer Copper details, Dark Maroon leather and more standard kit than any Clubman before it. The double rear doors close on a chapter, not the story – there are plenty waiting for their next owner.
